Gavoty La Cigale Rose

Description

Var is situated in Provence, but on flatter land than the slopes that get to be called Cotes de Provence. The estate is surrounded by oak and pine forests and bordered by the Issole River. Named for the ubiquitous cicadas that populate the region, La Cigale is charmingly juicy yet dry and a tiny bit salty.
