Pinot Gris (or Grigio, depending on which side of the French/Italian border it falls) is a grape known for creating notably crisp and clean flavors, a lighter body, and a gentle tart finish. You'll commonly find notes of apple, lemon, mineral, and flowers and pairs beautifully with pastas, shellfish, and soft, mild cheeses.
