Description

From the Azores and the only active vineyard on Faial.  Vines are planted in the bleak, mineral rich ash and sand left behind from the eruption in 1957.  This is a feirce and electric wine with a briny sea-salt salinity and smokiness that supports lime zest, green apple and tart stone fruits.
