Saint-Bris is technically part of Chablis and was booted out of the appellation after phylloxera and is exclusively planted to Sauvignon Blanc rather than the expected Chardonnay.  No matter as this wine shines bright and radiates quality and value.   In case you’re wondering, Exogyra is an extinct marine oyster deposited deep into the earth under the vines and Virgula means comma, referring to the curved shape of the oyster shells.
