Description

'Ripasso' means re-fermenting Valpolicella wine on the leftover Amarone 'marc' (grape skins), adding body, structure, and complexity. Well-balanced, creamy tannins and flavors of plumped cherry, anise and orange peel; hints of chocolate and spice.
